POSITION STATUS:
- Exempt (volunteer) [Note: The Agapao Movement is operated entirely by volunteers]
- This position serves as a member of Agapao’s Leadership Team

ABOUT THIS POSITION: We depend on this position to guide Agapao’s leadership team in developing a broad spectrum plan that will:
1, raise awareness of Agapao’s (a) international initiatives and, (b) needed resources to meet our initiatives;
2. inform and inspire potential volunteers and benefactors
3. enhance Agapao’s reputation through various forms of promotion and marketing
4. continue to develop a positive market brand
through effective marketing and promotion strategies

POSITION SUMMARY: The Marketing Coordinator will serve as Subject Matter Expert for Agapao’s overall functions and interact with various departments in order to fulfill the duties of the position. He/she will take these findings and combine it with their personal expertise to develop a successful Marketing & Advertising Plan.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have strong decision making skills and be able to work independently.
- Must be willing and ably agree to perform in accordance with the Requirements & Commitments of the position.
- Requires a background check.
- Preferably at least 21 years of age.

REQUIREMENTS & COMMITMENT:
- Projected time commitment: Ongoing (at least 6 months) / 4-6 hours per week
- Orientation and Training
- The majority of functions can be completed virtually; however, there are times when the Marketing Coordinator should be available to meet face-to-face with other members of the Leadership Team.
- We will discuss the adaptability of the position with suitable candidates

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- He or She will lead in the development and implementation of Agapao’s Promotional/Marketing/ Advertising strategy
- Develop and monitor website content and statistics. Make recommendations as to better Agapao’s online outreach
- Assist in the development of marketing collateral and prioritize marketing needs against available funding for marketing functions
- Demonstrate a strong creative approach to marketing the initiatives of Agapao
- Assist in the oversight of the Social Media Specialist position
