foster kittens
We've been rescued from the streets.....won't you please help us!

Volunteers are needed for assistance in cleaning and caring for rescued cats and kittens at our location at Petsmart in Plantation, Florida (on Sunrise Blvd and Flamingo Road). The volunteer must be 18 years of age or accompanied by an adult. We need assistance in both the mornings and evenings, plus weekends.

Additionally we need volunteers to foster cats and kittens that are rescued or abandoned that are too young or scared to be placed at the stores, or when we have no room at our main center. Fostering entails caring for the cat/kittens and taking them to receive their vaccines, spay or neuter at our main center in Oakland Park, when there is room we integrate these cats/kittens into cages at the stores to increase their chances for adoption. We post their pictures on the Animal Aid website to also give them visibility.

Additional opportunities involve helping with laundry, transporting animals to and from the center for medical treatment and occasional one time events. Please indicate when you respond the hours/days you are available, or if you wish to foster (or both!) Please also mention if you are in need of service hours, and if you are older than 18 (can be younger to foster) and include a contact phone number please. The kitties thank you for your interest!
