Musicians know and understand the power of music. Music professionals and therapists have the ability to use music to help those heal from a painful ailment, prolonged stress, or gain back some loss of memory. Share your gift joy and comfort with those who long for relief from isolation and fear that may accompany a terminal illness. By bringing music to someone facing end of life, you will help patients relax as well as find comfort and peace. Your contribution is not only essential to the physical, but also the mental well-being of patients at end-of-life. Music is so powerful that it can increase quality of life and lift someone out of darkness. All music volunteers receive training and support from the hospice team.
