New Lands Farm is a farmer collective launched to enable resettled refugees and immigrants stay connected with their agricultural traditions, as well as to put down roots in their new community. We are looking for volunteers to help with farm upkeep, harvesting and packing CSA shares, running our farm stand, assisting farmers with transportation and other needs, weeding, spreading compost, washing and packing vegetables, or working on special projects like building, painting, or gardening.

Come once for an hour or two, or come every week! Volunteer hours in May and June are: Monday afternoons 1pm-4pm, July through October: Tuesdays and Fridays 10am-2pm, or come for a Community Work Day one Thursday a month from 10am-1pm! Volunteer groups of 5+ should contact the farm in advance to inquire about service learning projects. For more information, visit ascentria.org/newlandsfarm/volunteer.
