This is a volunteer, part- time position that could lead to other opportunities within the organization. The Events Coordinator will work closely with the Events Manager to coordinate major events each year: (1) MAMCF 5K & (2) Annual Gala Preferred: Experience with 5k races and or gala preferred Duties & Responsibilities: Work independently in the absence of supervision Help achieve company goals by helping to plan and organize logistically successful events Assist with procuring necessary event permits and sanctions Assist with developing and implementing event production timelines Coordinate events within guidelines established Identify, secure bids and contract event vendors Assist with solicitation of in-kind donations for the events that will have a direct impact on the bottom-line Assist with coordinating the on-site event environment (e.g., signage, displays, etc.) Oversee coordination of travel and housing for event staff for out of town events Maintain all event equipment in proper working condition Assist with coordinating equipment/supply inventories for events, including development of equipment/supply manifests Assist with coordinating transportation of equipment and supplies to event locations Assist with acquisition of additional supplies and equipment Support and attend all MAMCF events Performing other event related duties as assigned by management Be a team player and work with integrity to fulfill MAMCF'c mission Please submit your resume along with your application.
