Miami Township Fire-Rescue is keen to attract enthusiastic volunteers who are interested in being trained to serve our community as EMT's. Members are trained, AT NO EXPENSE to the volunteer, to be Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technicians, able to respond to a wide range of medical emergencies in our advanced life support equipped ambulances. EMT's also lend support to our firefighters when responding to structure fires and rescues. Once trained, members volunteer their time according to their own availability and receive a small stipend on a per call basis. Volunteer members also have the opportunity to be further trained as firefighters if they wish.
