GRACE HOSPICE provides quality care for patients and families with our staff working closely together as a team. As a hospice volunteer you will be a vital part of our team which includes nurses, a doctor, social workers, and chaplains. After orientation, and a time of brief but comprehensive training, you will be assigned to a patient and family to visit and help out as needed. You will be trained and guided by the Volunteer Coordinator in conjunction with the social work staff. A compassionate and caring volunteer can bring much joy as they relate to staff, patients, and families. Schedules of visitation are according to the family and volunteer's availability.
