We help nonprofits at a strategic level, using management consulting techniques and skills to assist them accomplish their mission. All of our consulting engagements are scoped and custom solutions. However we use several standard approaches in our core work -- board development, strategic planning and business planning.

Put your professional expertise to good work and join us. We are looking for professionals skilled in:

  • Planning, analysis and strategy
    You must be able to flex from focus to big picture, from analysis to synthesis, and structure to inspiration.
  • Project management and team leadership
    Leadership is critical, but so is collaboration - we work in teams.
Our volunteering opportunities are in the form of consulting engagements. We assess needs, propose solutions, implement, engage/reassess and measure.

Mission Statement

The mission of Business Consultants for Non-Profits, a non-profit corporation in metro-Detroit is to help other non-profits operate more efficiently and be more effective in their operation.

Description

Our services are centered on other metro-Detroit non-profits. We utilize an assessment-based approach to identify areas that a non-profit needs to improve in order to successfully carry out their mission.

We use experienced business consultants to provide the service. We will work with the non-profit and help them improve their operation - primarily in the strategic and leadership development space. Our core services are board strengthening and strategic-level planning.

Any revenue generated from services rendered, less expenses, will be donated to a qualified charity (501 C3) on an annual basis
