Do you like working with horses and people with special needs? We have the perfect opportunity for you! CHAPS volunteers assist in the daily care of our program horses. Volunteers work side-by-side with our students during their lessons either by handling the horse or side walking with the student/rider. Horse handlers assist in controlling the horse until the student becomes confident and capable of doing so. Side walkers help support the rider on the horse and offer guidance and assistance during their lesson.
