Evacuteers are go

We're neighbors helping neighbors- we can all get out safely with the power of us!

Evacuteer.org is a nonprofit organization based in New Orleans that recruits and trains volunteers to provide hurricane preparedness and City-Assisted Evacuation (CAE) information to the community. Our Evacuation Volunteers ("Evacuteers") also help facilitate the CAE in the case of a mandatory evacuation.

We expect that at least 35,000 New Orleans residents will need to use the City-Assisted Evacuation because they do not have the resources available to evacuate themselves and their families. Our Evacuteers are the people who make sure that we all get out safely! Come out to the beautiful New Orleans East Library to learn what we're all about and what YOU can do to help! To register for this training, please visit our website: http://www.evacuteer.org/events/2017/6/8/evacuteer-training We hope to see you soon!
