Mission Statement

The Street Painting Festival, Inc. is its own 501c3 nonprofit organization. We provide Scholarships to PBC students interested in art. Funding also allows the Festival to continue to provide a free quality cultural event to members of the community who might not otherwise have the opportunity or the financial ability to experience such an event.

Description

The Street Painting Festival provides an interactive cultural and educational experience for the people of Palm Beach County and beyond. The artist and the viewer come together in a community environment, bringing art to lifefor everyone. Artists typically create while alone in their studios. The Street Painting Festival allows the viewer to become part of and involved with the artist’s creative process. The Festival takes the art "off the museum walls" and brings it to the people. Street painters/participants, using pastel chalks as their medium and the asphalt as their canvas, transform the streets into a temporary outdoor gallery of large scale original art and masterpiece reproductions.
