About

Have you ever wanted to do something AMAZING to change the world but didn't know where to start? Here is an opportunity to help underprivileged children, to help under-served children, to help ALL children. The American Youth Literacy Foundation is partnering with the Hirsch Academy in south Scottsdale and the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Scottsdale, Charros Branch, to deliver free tutoring to children after school. The American Youth Literacy Foundation, is an established, nine year old 501 (c) (3) charitable non-profit based in Philadelphia, (Collegeville) PA. We train and support tutoring programs nationwide. If you can imagine how the face of a child brightens the moment they first truly understand what it means to read, this is the moment and the feeling that you can help bring to a child by becoming a reading tutor. This is the moment and feeling that we want to bring to millions of children nationwide who have been left behind. When you sign up we'll send you a five page letter with a complete description of our program. We'll train you online HOW to teach reading to kids and we'll give you the curriculum and all the tools you need to be successful. All of this is completely FREE to you. Once you have finished the training and become certified, you will be teaching real kids who need extra help in reading at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Scottsdale, Charros Branch or the Hirsch Academy in south Scottsdale. Youth Lit will teach you a lifelong skill and then YOU can make a real difference for real children in your community. We welcome middle school (14+), high school and college students as well as adults. Please reply today. We look forward to hearing from you : ) (Note: if you sign up for more information on this opportunity, please be aware that you will get an instant reply email with an attached pdf describing the program in complete detail. Please check your spam folder or junk mail folder if you do not receive this email. If you need help, send a request email to "support@youthlit.org.")
