Great futures start HERE

Share your love for the arts with our club members. Assist with implementing arts activities, help deliver instructions, and have fun creating art! Our programs include performing arts and culinary arts so you can also lead a dance class, help members prepare healthy meals or teach them how to play an instrument.

Some other ideas:

Dance leader-

-Hold weekly dance classes

-Choreograph dance routine for culminating event

Drama Leader-

-Facilitate drama classes using TNT Drama curriculum

-Organize performance

We are open to your suggestions as to what to teach the members, based on your knowledge. We love having people who are genuinely passionate about art, creating and using your imagination as well as encouraging our members to use theirs!

Please check our website for more information about our organization if you would like. If you apply we will get in contact with you to help get you started ♥ Thanks!

Mission Statement

To inspire and empower all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.

Description

At the Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley, we have been enriching the lives of children in the Santa Clara Valley for more than six decades. By providing access to innovative programs, inspiring leaders and an enlightened perspective on life, we help children overcome boundaries and achieve their dreams.

Founded in 1944, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Silicon Valley (BGCSV) is an affiliate member of the Boys & Girls Club of America, and currently serves over 3,000 members, ages 6 to 18, at 9 facilities throughout the San Jose area.

Our target population in the City of San Jose is at-risk youth ages 6 to 18 that are vulnerable to influences from gangs and other negative pressures that would adversely affect their abilities to become successful adults.
