Help create and maintain electronic and database files for incoming child information, (some volunteers write personal descriptions of children and edit photos too). Other tasks may include helping to create recruitment emails for specific children, archiving of child information, updating records and sending standard emails. Basic computer skills, experience with Outlook, Excel, social media and databases is a plus, and training is provided. Mission Statement

WACAP is a champion for children, finding and preparing permanent families and offering lifelong support after adoption. Our vision is a family for every child.

Description

Life is hard without a family. WACAP’s focus is to find adoptive families for children and build strong families. A global non-profit since 1976, WACAP has united more than 11,400 children with permanent, loving families.

At WACAP, we believe in the power of family to transform lives, and work tirelessly on behalf of children in U.S. foster care and orphanages overseas. Through the help of volunteers, we use unique family finding methods enabling us to reach out across the U.S. to identify potential adoptive families and move toward our vision of a family for every child.
