What is the leader's role? With the help of a strong adult support team, a leader runs a troop, partnering directly with the girls. A leader communicates with parents, community support team and council. How much time will this take? It's up to you. You decide how many times your troop meets. We have waiting lists of girls all over our council from Charlottesville to Harrisonburg, Roanoke to Lynchburg, Blacksburg to Wytheville, Danville to Martinsville. Be the role model she’ll always remember. Start today! As a valued volunteer you will be given orientation and training necessary to contribute and thrive in your position.
