StandUp For Kids is committed to the help and rescue of homeless and street kids. We do this, every day, in cities across America. We carry out our mission through our volunteers who go to the streets in order to find, stabilize and otherwise help homeless and street kids improve their lives. We have been on the streets since January 1990 and continue to grow our organization to help America’s homeless youth.

StandUp For Kids needs your help to start an outreach program in your city. Starting a program takes patience, dedication and a sincere desire to help homeless and street youth. The first step is the Resource Survey, which identifies the current resources available to homeless youth and the potential locations of homeless youth in your community. After completing the Resource Survey, the next step is to develop a Leadership Team to manage the program. Leadership Team development often coincides with the Resource Survey process. Following the completion of the Resource Survey and Leadership Team development, the program can begin training volunteers to walk the streets and assist homeless and street youth.
