Key Responisablitles as a fundraiser and event planner

• Work with the staff to coordinate fundraising events
• Assist with marketing the fundraising events
• Assist with developing printed materials for fundraising events
• Assist with soliciting monetary and in-kind donations
• Assist with soliciting silent auction items
• Assist with setting up raffles and/or ticket sells
• Assist with logistical arrangements for fundraising events
• Be available the day/night of the event
• Maintain client and organization confidentiality

Expected Commitment:

• Hours are flexible
• Be available by phone or computer to assist with communication

Training/Support:

• Volunteer Orientation
• Program Manager and Grant Writer/Event Coordinator is available for questions and assistance
• Ongoing Event Coordination Meetings

Age Requirement:

• 18 years or older

Dress Code:

• Business casual when talking with the public

Qualifications:

Pleasant manner, problem solving ability, dependable, knowledge of event coordination or willing to learn, basic knowledge of confidentiality
