Hosting an exchange student is like adding an international branch to your family tree. Many host families develop lifelong friendships with their exchange students and keep in regular touch with them. Some even visit them in their home countries, or invite them back for weddings and graduations. Students bring their own insurance, spending money an a big sense of adventure!!

Mission Statement
Ayusa is a high school exchange program sponsored by the Department of State. We match bright young leaders from around the world with families across the United States. When you host an international student and open your home, you're giving them the opportunity to learn about America as a high school student in your community. In return, you get to experience a new culture and create a lifelong bond between your family and theirs.
Description
We believe that one connection has the power to change the world. We work with bright young students and match them with "typical" American families. Students are in the US for either a 10 moth or 5 month eduactioan program.
