VOLUNTEER AT VETERANS STAND DOWN EVENT. Are you a massage therapist with a passion for helping people feel good? 10 Therapists needed. Lets get together to give veterans some true R&R. We need your help in January at Winterhaven, one of the areas largest events held by the VA Medical Center in Washington DC. Homelessness is a harsh reality faced by many veterans. Among a host of services which will be available by other service providers, lets connect our veterans to wholistic relaxation massage and meditation in the form of 10-15 minute seated stress-busters. Many veterans expected at the event. We can do shifts if you are unable to commit the entire time. The exact date for the event hasn't been posted yet, however, it's usually held in late January. Massage students also welcome. A loving heart is the greatest benefit to veterans ... come out and volunteer. In Gratitude!
