Meet and Greet Volunteers:

Key Responsibilities

-Greet visitors to the Fringe Club

-Offer general information about Fringe and San Diego

-Be the face of Fringe to the public and Fringe artists

Desired Qualifications

- Friendly and happy demeanor

-Comfortable with standing for long periods of time

-Becoming familiar with the locations of the Festival

-Grace and a sense of humor under pressure

Find out all about San Diego’s coolest festival, learn a new skill and get to know your fellow Fringeneers. By being a part of this festival you will be a part of San Diego’s largest performing arts event and you will be personally responsible for helping the Arts & Culture in San Diego Flourish!

Volunteering has its benefits! Perks include:

* Free Fringe T-Shirt!

* Free Shows! If you work 15 hours you get unlimited walk-in tickets for yourself to any Fringe Managed Venue at any time when you are not currently working a shift. Seating is subject to availability. Shifts range from 3 to 5 hours.

To support emerging talent in the production of new art works, enriching the community while contributing to the professional advancement of artists through performance, exhibition, and education.

Description

We are a group focused on nurturing the arts in the community. As such, our current project is providing free afterschool theater and dance programs to schools that lack the funding. We also bring free workshops to schools who are interested in exposing their children to the arts.
