Ascend Hospice

"You have not lived until you have done something for someone who can never repay you."

Ascend Hospice is honored to have cared for your loved one. Our goal is to focus on the individual and their love ones providing for the whole person, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. To provide the very best care possible, a multi-disciplinary team shares the responsibility to meet the needs of hospice patients and their families. One member of this team, when possible, is the volunteer.

Volunteers can support patients and their loved ones by providing companionship with visits and/or phone calls. Since you have experienced hospice and life after the death of a loved one, you would be a great source of support for families currently going through these changes and challenges.

Your experience can help you be a healing presence to others.

Hospice volunteers receive training and are provided with the opportunity to interact and visit with our hospice patients in a safe, educational environment supported by the staff of Ascend Hospice.

If you, or someone you know, would like to enhance their life and the lives of other hospice patients and families please contact Ascend Hospice at 951-353-8006.

"We transition into this world surrounded by love, nurturance, and acceptance. We deserve to transition out of this world with the same dignity, compassion, and caring."
