The Florence House, a program of Ascentria Care Alliance, offers transitional living in a supportive environment for low income and often homeless mothers who, with the help of staff, gain the skills necessary to manage life successfully when they leave.
We are looking for volunteers to engage in interactive play with infants and young children while their mothers attend educational life skills groups.
Volunteers are scheduled on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4pm - 6pm.
We ask our volunteers to make a 6 month commitment if possible.
