Petco on 136th and Maple has been generous and offered us the use of their cat habitats in the front of their store. We have seen from experience that using the cat habitat is very effective at finding homes for our cats.

We are looking for a group or individual who would be willing to volunteer one or more times a week to tidy the habitats and play with the kitties. It would allow us to save the lives of many more animals if we could find homes for them faster. And having the cats regularly played with would keep them friendly and sociable which also contributes to their adoptability.

Won't you help keep our kitties happy and healthy so they can find their furever homes?

Mission Statement

We are a local nonprofit 501c3 organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming stray and feral cats.

Description

Feline Friendz is a TRUE no-kill rescue operation, meaning the ONLY reason a cat would be put down is in the case of a serious/non curable medical condition. We do not euthanize feral cats, or cats with temperament or behavioral issues. Instead, these cats are integrated into outdoor managed colonies which are monitored daily and provided with food, water, and shelter. All vet work is done prior to going into the colony or into our adoption program. Typical vet work consists of Feluk/FIV testing, vaccinations, spay/neuter, and parasite control. We believe that Spay/Neuter is the key to curing pet over population. Our kittens are spayed at 10-12wks of age then put into our adoption program, thus ensuring that no "accidents" occur after adoption.
