Homestead Hospice is members of the We Honor Veterans program and are in need of Veteran volunteers. Veteran Volunteers sit at bedside of Veteran Patients and provide a listening ear, emotional support and general companionship. Homestead Hospice care is specialized in providing support to patients and their loved ones during the final phase of a terminal illness. Hospice care focuses on comfort and quality of life, rather than a cure.
