Volunteers needed to provide emotional support and compassionate care to terminally ill patients in your area. Volunteers sit with patient to give family members a much needed break, some volunteers read to the patient while others enjoy delivering fresh baked items. There is a short orientation/training and is flexible schedule.

Homestead Hospice care is specialized in providing support to patients and their loved ones during the final phase of a terminal illness. Hospice care focuses on comfort and quality of life, rather than a cure. The purpose of hospice care is neither to end nor prolong life, but rather to relieve the pain and discomfort of symptoms and give support to patients and their families during "Lifes most important journey"
