Offer practical compassionate help to hospice patients and their caregivers. Volunteers help many of our hospice families and patients by assiting with different tasks, which include
1) doing groceries for families
2) helping caregivers with light house work, such as organizing a closet, fixing a garage, etc.
3) conversing with patients that stay by themselves or have little family support
3) providing relief sitting for caregivers to run errands
4) creating memorial legacy projects for patients
Hospice patients and families are often overwhelmed, a helping hand makes a huge difference.
