Each Sunday we organize groups to bring in a home-cooked meal to serve to the homeless. We are in need of rotating Kitching Coordinators who will help the flow of each evening. This person would arrive just prior to the team (2:30pm on a Sunday.) They would ensure that all the serving supplies are out and ready for the team. When the team arrives at 3:00 pm, this person would greet them and help them get set up for the evening. The team would be escorted to a brief orientation and after, the Kitchen Coordinator would be available to help answer any questions and help the team know how to set up and how to serve the homeless when they come in just before 5:00. After serviing, the Kitchen Coordinator would help the team to know how to clean up the kitchen. The role is a director type position.
This person must have good organizational and people skills and be able to lead the group in prayer and love to serve Jesus.
