For 50 years SCORE has been a major force in the founding and growth of small businesses across the United States. Miami Dade’s SCORE chapter has been a vibrant member of the SCORE team of over 300 chapters since the organization’s beginnings. With 100 volunteers, the chapter has succeeded in fostering significant growth in South Florida’s small business community.

The chapter is searching for officers and committee chairs to keep the momentum of its work going. With the support of its seasoned team of highly capable volunteer counselors, both retired and in-business, our Executive Committee will provide the leadership to continue and grow the many programs entrepreneurs are offered by the chapter. Our officers and chairs have the opportunity to represent the chapter in the South Florida business, government and institutional communities as well as the SCORE national management. Specific Committees are Finance, Workshops, Membership and Marketing.

Candidates should have business experience either as owners or as senior executives in larger companies. Leadership and management skills are essential, as well as a passion for helping people succeed in their personal and business goals. Ideal candidates will be retired or semi-retired with sufficient time available to dedicate to the position.
