Many seniors in our communities go on living without proper diet and expired food. Help us to help these seniors by deliverying food to them.
Assistance needed for caring individuals who can safely deliver hot or frozen meals to seniors who cannot drive to buy groceries or cook their own meals. Volunteers will help enable these seniors to eat healthy and nutritious meals at an affordable cost. Volunteers will pick up and deliver meals to seniors around Palolo valley to Hawaii Kai to Kalihi.More opportunities with Palolo Chinese Home

Description
Palolo Chinese Home (PCH) is a private, not-for-profit 501(c) (3) charitable organization, whose mission is to aid the aged in Hawaii, regardless of race, religion, nationality, ethnic origin or gender. It is one of Hawaii’s oldest and largest adult residential care homes (ARCH). PCH is governed by a 20-member, Board of Directors (nonpaid), who represent Hawaii’s diverse businesses, consumers, and community organizations. Located in the Palolo Valley district in metropolitan Honolulu, Palolo Chinese Home has 50 licensed ARCH beds, 61 intermediate/skilled nursing care beds, and an adult day center that can accommodate 40 clients per day. Palolo Chinese Home originated in 1896 by a group of Chinese immigrants to care for its fellow retirees. PCH established its permanent residence on 15 acres of land in Palolo Valley in 1917. Today, PCH provides a continuum of care services. Besides offering residential care and adult day services, PCH also has senior companion, house cleaning, overnight respite care, and prepares hot meals for individuals living homes.
