Create historic covered wagon models. Museum staff will use these models to teach students about life on the Oregon Trail. Cut, stain and assemble small wooden components in your own workshop using provided templates. Each wood wagon is approximately 12"x11"x6.5" and includes moveable wheels and tongue (see photo). Reimbursement is available for the cost of materials and supplies with approval of material list from Museum staff.

Description
The Job Carr Cabin Museum is a replica of Job Carr's log cabin, originally built in 1864/65, as the first permanent non-native residence in Tacoma. The Museum houses interpretive historical displays and artifacts from Tacoma's early days. Educational history programs and tours are provided for school children, educators, history buffs, community residents and visitors to our city.
