ORGANIZATION: The Well of Mercy

Seeking tutors that would like to aid in single mothers' educational journey. The tutors would assist in course work and explanation of the material as well as how to study and useful study skills and tips. Right now we are looking for multiple tutors, but have one specific need at this moment as well. A tutor is needed in reviewing course material each week for a legal terminology class, so that the woman feels comfortable with the class information. Prior knowledge of legal terminology is not required. This specific tutor would need to be available either Monday after 1pm, Wednesday at 1pm OR Tuesday anytime between 9am and 1030 am for one hour.

The Well of Mercy is a long-term transitional living environment for single mothers and their children. We aim to support women who desire independence and self-sufficiency by providing shelter, education and employment assistance, emotional support, and spiritual guidance.

We offer many resources under one roof, providing holistic support and a unique cooperative living environment. Our approach empowers single mothers to break the cycle of poverty, become less dependent on public aid, pursue meaningful contributions to society, and provide a consistent and healthy environment in which to raise their children.
