I Am We is a 501(c)(3) arts organization that is dedicated to building bridges between youth and community through the arts. Birthed in 2016 by a group of artists, educators and community, we came together to strengthen underserved neighborhoods by providing mentorships, quality programming and safe spaces where children and teens can be cultivated, connected and inspired.

To move our mission forward, and to impact Chicago's most underserved neighborhoods, we are in need of leaders to serve on our board.

Our ideal candidates will:

• Have a knowledge of working with young start-up organizations;
• Be creative;
• Be a self-starter;
• Enjoy working with or advocating for underserved communities;
• Be results driven;
• Energetic and possitive energy;
• Forward thinking;
• Passtionate about diversity;
• Have expereince in either marketing, communications, arts, education, data; advocacy; fund development, psychology and event planning.

I Am We is a young start-up organization that is comprised of diverse forward thinking professtionals who are passtionate about creating a more united and vibrant Chicago amongst all neighborhoods.
