Champion of the Year is a 10-week campaign that raises funds and awareness for Best Buddies. 26 candidates are selected from across the state to participate virtually. They raise funds by recruiting sponsors, procuring silent auction items, and selling advertisements. We are looking for volunteers to help with our online auction, procure items and sell ads.
People with intellectual and developmental disabilities have been disproportionally affected by the pandemic. Cut off from school and their community, they have faced significant social isolation.
