The YWCA Family Village Issaquah After-School Program is an on-site after-school program that serves primary and secondary students living in our ethnically-diverse affordable housing community. The program offers a supervised, caring environment where youth can connect with tutors and mentors, as well as enjoy educational and recreational activities. Our program promotes racial equity, academic achievement, and social-emotional learning.
We strive to provide our youth with consistency. Thus, we seek volunteers who are interested in supporting our after-school programming at least once per week for at least four months. Having a regular, ongoing presence in the program helps volunteers build strong relationships with our youth.
Our program runs Mondays-Fridays, from 4-6pm.
