Each spring, the Y touches bases with its ongoing pool of donors. We need 20 campaigners to each raise $100, during this Give-Get outreach effort. Training and a fun kickoff party happens in March. In April, each campaigner calls 2-3 regular donors and asks the donor's Y story, why they support the Y, and if they can renew their gift.
In 2017, the Y provided $126,000 in financial assistance to 300 individuals, 200 of which were youth, so that all could participate, regardless of ability to pay.
We need volunteers to help us call our donors, and ask if they can give again this year so help some 300 individuals in our community.
