A few hours of your time can make a difference to a lonely patient! Reverence Hospice, St. John Providence is looking for volunteers to provide in-home visits to hospice patients. Your caring presence allows family members the chance to run errands or keep appointments, or lonely patients to have visits from a new friend. Our program provides training to volunteers and offers ongoing education, recognition and support. Hours are flexible. Please contact Sarah for more details

Description

Hospice care allows terminally ill patients and their families to remain together in the comfort and dignity of their own home. The hospice team of physicians, nurses, nursing assistants, dietitians, social workers, clergy and volunteers are dedicated to providing compassionate medical and emotional care. Reverence strives to provide the best quality of life through expert pain control, symptom management, psycho-social and spiritual support in accordance with the individual patient wishes.
