About

We are in search of college-educated volunteer tutors to help a small group of 2-4 students in grades 5 through 9complete their homework assignments and work toward their academic goals. Community tutoring offers tutors the opportunity to build teaching skills and to mentor elementary and middle school students in a fun, relaxed environment. Tutoring is held on Monday evenings from 6:30-7:30 pm throughout the academic year. Volunteers must complete an interview and short training; no teaching experience is required.

We are specifically looking for tutors who can commit to coming to our site every Monday night from now until the beginning of June with the exception of holidays and CPS non-attendance days.
