During these uncertain times, how can we help?

Texas Home Health Hospice is searching for volunteers to visit and create companionships with our patients in the Levelland area. Volunteers would be trained and equipped with the knowledge necessary to provide relief for patient care givers, as well as being able to offer friendship to patients who are in the last season of their life. Weekly visits are typically 1-2 hours long and are a great opportunity for volunteers to read to patients, listen to music with them, or to just talk. Volunteers must be at least 18 years old and able to pass a background check. This experience would be beneficial for pre-nursing or pre-med students as it equips them with a set of skills to work with this terminal population. It is also a great opportunity for any individuals who want to give back to the community.
