The Center for Women Mentoring Program connects eligible female participants with a mentor who acts as trusted friend and guide. Navigating a life transition such as job loss, divorce, death of spouse, or workforce re-entry can be overwhelming. The Center for Women understands that having a support person can help turn a bad ending into a new beginning.
The mentoring program aims to create a supportive community of women helping women achieve success. Eligible participants are provided the opportunity to enhance confidence and skills while developing a supportive relationship with a mentor who offers encouragement and friendship.
The CFW Mentoring Program serves women in the Pittsburgh area. Mentors meet one-on-one with participants in a community setting over the course of one year. We carefully screen, train, and monitor participants throughout the mentoring process to promote successful matches. If you are a woman interested in enriching your life by sharing your own experiences, listening and supporting a new friend, then the CFW Mentoring Program may be a good fit for you.
