At this time, our Spanish language needs have been met. Thank you!
Highest needs: Bosnian, Asian languages
The Office of the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman works to advocate for the rights and wishes of residents and tenants in long-term care, including those living in nursing facilities, residential care facilities, assisted living programs and elder group homes.
Volunteers will assist our team in reaching non-English speaking residents and families by translating educational and promotional materials to inform them of their rights in a long-term care setting.
Ideally, volunteers with the same language skills will work in virtual teams (one to translate, the other to check the translation for accuracy) in order to reach a final product.
