Volunteer Guardians serve a very important role in making essential decisions for vulnerable adults who cannot make those decisions on their own due to disability that affects their cognition. These disabilities can include dementia, developemental diability, traumatic brain injury and mental illness. The volunteer guardian is the person who makes decisions in the best interest of these adults to ensure their safety and well-being. If you have the time and desire to help advocate for these individuals please consider becoming a volunteer guardian.
