This event takes place on the second Sunday of the month through November.
These "get outdoors" events will take place at Cora Island unit of the Big Muddy Wildlife Refuge, Jones Confluence State Park and Riverlands Bird Sanctuary located at the Confluence of the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers in West Alton, Mo.
The Confluence Conservation Crew and other volunteers will be cleaning up Ellis Island in the Riverlands Migratory Bird Sanctuary at 301 Riverlands Way in W. Alton. Volunteers are needed to clear trash out from Ellis Island.This event will start work on a new trail to be built on the Island! Please bring gloves, water and boots. This is a really beautiful place and hopefully we will see lots of birds, so come join us on the river. The trash pickup or other service project will start at 12:00pm and the nature walk will start at 1:00pm and finish at 2:00.
Volunteers will meet at 11:30am in the parking lot of the Riverlands Headquarters at 301 Riverlands, West Alton, MO 6338
