We are seeking a person passionate about marketing success and innovative marketing, with knowledge of IT, technology and social media and hands on skills. a team player. Also we seek 2 others to assign specific parts of the marketing tasks.
Ideal candidates are: 1) in college studying business and marketing. or 2) MBA in business and or marketing. or 3) Retired Marketing professional with a little time, to participate in the fun of successful marketing.

- Successful communications with heads of schools, the Office of Education to market our School programs for 2019 - "In-School Opera Program to Address Racial Prejudice." (for high schools and middle schools) In August we get dates for our programs, and communications with school principals and other administrators begins.
- Seeking the Wizard behind the curtain. Your knowledge of Technology,social media, tracking, measuring development and using new strategies for reaching audience is key!
- Online Publicity: Enter performance and program info in various online calendars.
- Board Position possible: Join or Lead our Board Marketing Committee working with the ED, for ongoing development of opera company programs and productions. Meetings will be scheduled- online or phone meetings set up how you participate, and task list.

Golden Gate Opera is dedicated to sharing the joys of the myriad of fine arts found in live professional opera with people of all ages, cultural and economic backgrounds to enrich lives. We inspire a better life, through first rate performances and educational programs. We develop careers for emerging professional talent - singers, designers, directors and conductors through performances in the theatre, Aria Parties in private homes, In-School programs, plus Field Trips to the opera for K-12 school student groups. We arrange for low-income groups and senior communities to experience this art form, especially where they can in no other way experience this than that we bring it to them.

Golden Gate Opera, (GGO) proudly celebrates its 28th Anniversary year in 2023, Transforming lives with Opera . Winner of National Endowment for the Arts and California Arts Council Grant Award, 2016 for premiere of "Lincoln-The African American Connection", 2017 -West Coast Premiere of Anti-Bullying one-act for children - Menotti's "The Boy Who Grew Too Fast". GGO professional singers collaborate with children choruses and Musica Marin chamber orchestra of musicians from SF Opera, SF Symphony and SF Ballet for glorious realization creating a better life for children. Volunteers help with auditions, marketing, refreshments, graphic design, greet audience and guests.
