Job Description: Human Health Project is looking for a volunteer Junior Web Graphic Designer to help deliver the strategic build out of our new website. You will be working directly with the lead UX Designer along with the Development team and Marketing teams. More senior candidates are welcome to to apply but junior candidates with a strong portfolio should also be a great fit for this work. Roles and Responsibilities: Help define the overall graphical identity of the new HHP website. Designing graphical assets in line with wireframes for layout and UI components Providing feedback on current and prospective creative direction. Assist in UI/UX design Skills/Qualities: Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Color and/other design tools. Comfortable with both vector and raster graphics Familiar with/willing to learn Shutterstock, or other stock image repositories Good sense of composition and color theory. Understand photography, typography, design, and printing Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS are preferred but not required. Self starter with a willingness to learn/work with minimal direction Strong communication skills (both verbal and written). Must have own laptop and access to software for this position. All Candidates will be expected to provide a portfolio of their work.
