PPR has a mission to help those who have been emotionally wounded by extreme truamas. Our programs require program executions that is well planned and strategized. We need an event planning team that has the talend and skill to make our monthly, quarterly, and annual events successful. Our current calendar of events include the Woman2Woman monthly fellowships, youth empowerment events, periodic rewards ceremonies, annual conferences, and the annual fundraiser.
Volunteers will primarily work virtually from home at times that are condusive to their schedules. There will be periodic face-to-face meetings as scheduled by the Executive Director. Volunteers who are unable to attend the meetings in person will be able to call in to participate.
Investment of time is generally between 10-15 hours monthly.

Description
Proverbial Peace Revived is a federally certified non-profit (501c3) community outreach organization, faith-based in its purpose, directives and operations. It was founded in 2004 to empower the emotionally wounded and spiritually broken to release, forgive, and heal from the traumas of past hurt, and live purposeful, successful lives. The mission of the ministry is to help those who are lost, disillusioned and hopeless from the stressors of child abuse, molestation, rape, domestic violence, or other painful family ordeals and reignite the possibilities of hope, peace, and joy in life’s pursuits.
The organization is focused on achieving the following goals:
To encourage growth, forgiveness and release through developmental training and faith-based coaching to achieve healing, peace, and fulfilling success.
To promote a greater understanding of how to master positive life skills to maintain successful, enduring, and supportive relationships.
To provide a forum for individuals in crisis to become self-reliant and self-sufficient in improving their lives and eliminating hindrances to achieving life-long goals.
To encourage and support youth empowerment for teens in at-risk situations by providing mentorship, training and education as alternatives to negative responses to challenging circumstances. THe youth initiatives are focused on teens in foster care and the juvenile justice systems.
