Are you interested in helping non-English speakers to practice their conversational skills? If so, become an ESL Conversation Club volunteer at Los Altos Library! The club will be starting on January 29th, and will then be ongoing on Thursdays from 2:30-3:30pm. Volunteers will not actually be teaching English, but rather facilitating by leading members in topical discussions (and explaining vocabulary/grammar as it comes). This would be the perfect opportunity for a retired/current teacher, college student, or anyone with strong English skills and a desire to help others.
Please note: While the contact is based at Woodland Branch, the meeting location is Los Altos (Main) Library... address and map included in listing.
