West Valley Community Services (WVCS)* has started a small produce garden that benefits those we serve. We are looking for volunteers who would like to assist with weekly maintenance of the garden.

If you have a green thumb or are interested in learning how to garden, you're welcome to be a part of this volunteer opportunity - no experience required!

In addition to those wanting to learn, we are looking for a volunteer who is knowledgeable about gardening, and can serve as a garden expert for us.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • seasonal planting
  • on-going harvesting

(WVCS) is a private non-profit, community-based agency that has been providing direct assistance and referral services to the west valley communities of Santa Clara County for over 40 years. Founded in 1973, WVCS provides a continuum of basic needs, family support services and housing services including: information and referrals, food pantry, clothing, transitional housing, affordable housing, financial assistance, family support and case management services. WVCS serves the west valley communities of Cupertino, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, Saratoga, West San Jose and the surrounding mountain regions.

About West Valley Community Services:
West Valley Community Services, Inc. is a non-profit, community-based agency that has been providing direct assistance and referral services to the west valley communities of Santa Clara County for over 45 years. Founded in 1973, West Valley Community Services provides a continuum of basic needs, including an in-house and mobile food pantry, homeless support, affordable housing, emergency financial assistance, family support, referrals, education, and case management. West Valley Community Services serves homeless and low-income individuals and families in the west valley communities of Cupertino, Saratoga, West San Jose, Los Gatos, Monte Sereno, and the surrounding mountain regions.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: 8 am to 12 pm, 1 pm to 5 pm
Saturday and Sunday: Closed
