reDiscover Center regularly get donations of discarded household, commercial, and industrial materials that have the potential to have a second life as "rediscovered" material for art and education. Those donations need to be sorted, cleaned, photographed, and shelved. We organize a fun crew of staff and volunteers for regular materials handing days to process recent donations and clear out materials that have not found a happy home. Big materials handling days are scheduled occasionally throughout the year and we also hold regular materials handling sessions every day.
