Henry B. Plant Museum

Docents are knowledgeable emissaries of the Museum, able to share facts, stories and our lifestyle approach to interpretation with the public. Docents are valued educators who lead school field trips and adult tours. Docents should display flexibility, responsibility and respect with regards to Museum visitors, staff, and other volunteers.

This is a wonderful opportunity for individuals who enjoy learning about and sharing history with others. Docents should enjoy public speaking and be comfortable interacting with groups using inquiry and conversation rather than lecturing.
