We are looking for a Patient Companionship Volunteers at Kindred Hospice to visit patients at Nursing Homes and patient's homes.
During visits, volunteers can read to patients, write letters for them, play music, games, provide companionship and share conversation. Just be with the patient. Add to the quality of their lives as they come to the end of their journey.
Comprehensive training and orientation for hospice volunteering is provided. If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact Corrie Johnson, Manager of Volunteer Services at 314-275-6100 or Corinne.Johnson@gentiva.com. We look forward to hearing from you!
