Do you have the hospice heart? We, at Gentiva Hospice, are looking for Patient Companionship Volunteers to visit patients in facilities and at patient's homes.

During visits, volunteers can read to patients, write letters for them, play music, games, provide companionship, share conversation, and just spend extra time with the patient. We are looking for someone to add to the quality of their lives as they come to the end of their journey.

Comprehensive training and orientation for hospice volunteering is provided. I will join you on your first visits, and I am always available for support.
